Michael Malik – the lone ranger for legalisation of gambling halls in the country


As an entrepreneur Michael Malik is most popular for his praiseworthy efforts to legalise the game of gambling in the country. Michael along with his partner Marian Ilitch, were the driving force behind the development of gambling halls and casinos in the coastal regions of Hawaii and nearby areas.

As a partner with NAG (Native American Gambling), Michael brought forward casino projects such as the casino in Little River Band of Ottawa in Manistee and Bay Mills Indian Community. His praiseworthy efforts with NAG brought gambling industry to Michigan, an entertainment industry that earns annual revenue of more than $1.3 billion presently.

Mr. Malik is always in the news for his other interests as well, apart from gambling. As the owner of MJM Enterprises and Development, Michael Malik participates in development projects, such as a hunting and fishing reserve, financing touring and oil and gas development, to name a few.
